I leave bright and early tomorrow for Portland, returning Sunday, to attend the O'Reilly Open Source convention. Al Essa will be there also, and I imagine there are other folks going as well? I'd love to do a social some evening this week. Please post here if you'd like to attend, and feel free to suggest your preferred day and location (I don't know the Portland area at all).
