Hey All,

Just wondering whether anyone out there can give me a hand on how I go about using the notifications package to set up email and sms notifications?

I'm trying to create a website for myself and saw how useful openACS is and decided to have a go at it, but am unsure as to how to set this up...

I couldnt find much documentation on this either - is there a guide on how to use this package?

Have a look at the bottom of this thread: https://openacs.org/forums/message-view?message_id=112286 - Rafael Calvo posted a link to one of his student's projects that does email and sms, although the implementation is not a 'standard' part of OpenACS.

Also take a look at the notifications tutorial thread: https://openacs.org/forums/message-view?message_id=108283 - it's very useful.
