So I'm picking up from the comments that the feature is not quite ready for prime time.
I'm trying to figure out an alternative to Mailman which is a nice tool for email exchanges but pretty crappy for archives. It sounds like trying to migrate users who are used to Mailman to forums+email would result in some angry users.
