I like Talli's suggestion the best, "The Toolkit for Online Communities". It is short, stong, to the point, and has the best ring to it of the options I've heard so far. I particularly like that when spoken, it gives the speaker the option of implying that OpenACS is "The Toolkit for Online Communities". Yeah baby.

I vote for Talli's shorter version as well. But if you limit it to web applications it gives others the option to sell a boxed set of the "Toolkit for Online Communities", including OpenACS, Jabber, Webbased EMail, online blackboards, collaborative software (like Hydra) aso. :).
