OpenACS will have a booth at the LinuxWorldExpo in Frankfurt, Germany from the 27th til 29th of October. I will handle the coordination, so please feel free to contact me about details.

Furthermore we plan to provide a Knoppix CD with OpenACS 5.0/dotLRN 2.0 during this Conferences. Any help re: content is as always appreciated.

Okay, some more information.

We have a couple of possibilities to market during the conference.

a) Press kits
b) Press conference
c) Free entrance tickets on behalf of OpenACS
d) New product announcement to be distributed on their Press list and in their "news section" of the website.

Now, I guess you will see where this is going ;). Shall we Market OpenACS 5.0 / dotLRN 2.0 and name it a "pre-launch" event?

I'm considerably in favour of it, but if there are serious objections....

oh man

i'm in europe october 14-27th and i actually leave out of frankfurt airport back to the u.s. on the morning of the 27th! what close bad luck!

Oh, shit, Malte, I just bought a ticket to Berlin to attend a meeting there for Sloan and I booked my return for October 27th.

Drat.  Already a done deal.
