A little while ago, I posted about this in relation to setting up daemontools ... at the time, based on the suggestions coming back, I reconfigured the run script and removed the 'error log rotation' I was doing, which *seemed* to correct the problem ... until tonight it got pointed out to me that without any log rotation that it just suddenly stopped ...
Issuing a SIGHUP to the server rotates both the error.log and .log files ... the .log file continues to be written to, but the error.log file stays zero length ...
Has anyone noticed similar behaviour? Know of something that I can look at?
I'm running nsd8x with -izkt, if that matters ...
