FYI, from what I hear I think they really want an MD for this
position, but the job description below is less specific than that.
(And I'm not sure what they're offering pay-wise but presumably it's
enough to interest an MD who could be practicing medicine instead.):
Product Manager
As a Product Manager you will be responsible for the product
management of PatientKeeper's mobile applications for physicians. This
function is responsible for managing the entire life cycle of product
development, including: market and competitive analysis, requirements
gathering, market validation, functional specification development,
test plan development, outbound communications, and sales support.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills are
required.
Qualifications:
a. 4+ years of experience in product management with a proven
execution track record of successful results.
b. BA/BS degree in marketing, communications, business or related
field.
c. MS, MBA, and/or MD preferred.
d. The ability to develop an intuitive understanding of the
Company's technology, products, services and market space.
e. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
are required.
f. Start-up company experience is a plus.
