Forum .LRN Q&A: How can we contribute to dotLRN 2.0

Hello!

Since 23 of August 2003 the Campus Virtual of the National Engineering University of Nicaragua UNI is using dotLRN as e-learning Platform.

http://www.uol.edu.ni/

Since we needed the multilingual capabilities (Spanish spoken here) we jumped into the cold water and installed:

dotLRN from CVS
openACS from CVS (openacs-4)
postgres 7.3.3
aolserver from CVS:

AOLserver/4.0 (aolserver4_0)
  CVS Tag:        $Name:  $
  Built:          Jul 24 2003 at 14:37:50
  Tcl version:    8.4
  Platform:        linux

----

We are doing quite an amount of fixing in the templates and SQL code.

Question: is there a way too recontribute to the comunity? (or are we way off from what everybody uses and needs).

Hey, this is awesome. Sadly you did not mention this right in the beginning when you launched, as I assume a lot  of things have already been fixed by the latest bug festival.

To come back to your originial question. What I'd suggest to do is to go to the bug-tracker (https://openacs.org/bugtracker/openacs/), look at the open bugs and see if your fixing would resolve a certain bug. If it does, just provide a CVS diff and upload the patch (documentation can be found in the bug-tracker while uploading the patch).
