hi all (again) i can't see any existing tcl procd in oacs for extrating mime parts from an email. the base64 functionality from tcllib is there, but no mime stuff (you can create a mime  encoded email with ACS Mail, but not extract one).

can anyone point me to one (if it exists), or does anyone have any experience using tcllib's mime code?

Check out the proc parse_incoming_email, in acs-tcl/tcl/html-email-procs.tcl.  I think it does what you need.
