Forum OpenACS Q&A: Minutes from the first Australian OpenACS social

Minutes from the first Australian OpenACS social on 10th Nov, 2003.

We met at the Web Engineering Group (WEG) at the University of Sydney and immediately went to "The Rose", the local pub. People assiting:

Ernie Ghiglione (WEG),
Mark Aufflick (consultant)
Danielle (?) former Greenpeace, now consultant
Rafael Calvo (WEG)
Dorian Peters (CoCo)
David Peterson (WEG)

Bruno and Danielle were our main guests. Bruno talked about Greenpeace's history/projects and future work.
The rest briefly described what they were doing with OpenACS and how we saw its future in the Australian Market.
We discussed possible collaboration on research/development projects and possible funding from the Australian government.
Danielle proposed that we communicate better what we arre doing at WEG, so I have prepared a sumamary of activities to be posted soon.

The beer was nice :) I'm sorry I missed out on Thai for dinner, but The Matrix Revolutions was more important ;)

Nice meeting the new faces - so many Argentinians at one table!
