Here is an interesting post http://www.edtechpost.ca/mt/archive/000440.html that raises questions about how weblogs should be integrated with a course management system with a link to another article http://www.syllabus.com/news_issue.asp?id=155&IssueDate=11/12/2003

This is an area I belive .LRN users will be exploring soon with the additional of weblogs to .LRN 2.0.

Dave,

Some already are: http://seque.middlebury.mit.edu/sites/segue.
Last spring, some folks from Middlebury College presented on the CMS they had developed using Manila which brough blogging into the Humanities classroom.  .LRN could learn a lot from their ideas.

DeeDee,

The link you posted has been down for the last week or so.  Do you know if they have a paper or writeup available somewhere else?  I had no luck at Middlebury's own web site either.

Thanks,

Matt

Matt,

I don't have any other information about the Middlebury project.  Before I made that last posting, I checked the link and it was working.
