What's the status of the metadata spec and skinny table spec desribed in

I'll be working on data-entry forms for a large number of tables, and skinny tables seems a good fit for my project.

I can start working on it from scratch, but if there's some half-finished code waiting for someone to adopt it, I'd be very happy to..

Hmmm...I took a closer look at metadata, and it seems that it isn't something I can digest within the time I have for my project. It requires modifications to some core areas, like ad_form.

Oh, well. A quickie code generator will probably do for the meantime.
