You're not being redirected. AOLserver is returning the information your machine is returning (check your /etc/HOSTNAME file). To make it behave differently set the "set hostname" line as:
set hostname mymachine.mydomain.com
The "nuke user" problem is a beta 3 problem that has been fixed (I think, will double check) for the final release.
