I think the 1.01 version linked from the openacs site doesn't include the changes that you made. It is based on postgres.c version 1.15 whereas the latest version in cvs is postgres.c version 1.20. The version 1.15 postgres.c file doesn't have the FOR_ACS_USE flag.
