Forum OpenACS Q&A: General Comments Question

As the sys admin on an oacs site, I would assume that visiting the general comments page would show all comments made on the system i.e. let you see all comments that have been posted by all users. It seems however that you can only see your own comments. Is that the intended behaviour and, if so, is there a place/way to monitor comments by all users?

Hi Brad,
I think you can set the permissions to enable users to create comments.
Try to allow "general comments create" to registered users. By the way what version of OpenACS are you using?

No problems with letting users create comments - I've added the general comments calls to photo album on head and registered users can create comments. I want to know where/how I can view those comments. I guess I could just set a notification to myself but is there a page somewhere to view all comments?

Brad,

When are you visiting the mount point of your general comments package you will see an [Administer] link. Clicking that will show comments from all users, not just yourself.
