1: Documentation for SDM/BITS?

I'd like to start using the SDM to manage bugs/features for an
OpenACS project. Is there any documentation/user guide available for
this? I've been working with a recent CVS copy of OpenACS and it
appears the SDM now also has CVS control within it? However I'm kind
of confused as the steps required to setup a project and then
maintain it - some of the links/fields are not clear to me. Also how
does the whole setup work together (Teams/Projects/New Ticket/SDM/?)

I'm guilty on this one. We have been working on some initial basic documentation available at http://openforce.net/doc/bits. These are basic usage docs, but more information will be available in the near future.

I am working on getting SDM/BITS all up and running and it is for the most part.  SDM is not clear how I use it to develop code.. ie modifying the code in data/sdm-sources/package and updating the repository etc..

Is there any new documentation or notes out there. I would be glad to document what I can in the process of learning / setting up
