Forum OpenACS Q&A: Customization of Look and Feel for entire ACS

Is the only real way to get a consistant new look and feel for the
system to hack every .tcl file for every module you are using?

If I want to change more than the background colors, etc... it looks
like this is the way. I guess the templating system will hopefully
take care of this problem.

Is it possible to convert the .tcl pages to .adp pages to ease
changes in the layout and design of a site?

That way each script would call the custom tags, and I could just
change the custom definitions. Has anyone done anything like this?

The templating system is the ultimate solution to this problem.  As ACS/OpenACS roles forward, I'm hoping that anyone who builds modules will use the templating system [it will make everyones life so much easier..]
