"The Advanced Distributed Learning (ADL) Initiative has released Sharable Content Object Reference Model (SCORM) 2004, formerly referred to as SCORM Version 1.3. The most significant change from SCORM Version 1.2 to SCORM 2004 is the addition of learning content sequencing capabilities as defined by the IMS Global Learning ConsortiumÂ’s Simple Sequencing (SS) specification to address the need for dynamic presentation of learning content based on learner performance." News release

I will work on the updates to incorporate IMS Simple Sequencing as well as the IMS Content Packaging and Metadata extensions so we can export SCORM Content Aggregation Model 1.3 to the ones released last week. However, take into account that this will not make OpenACS SCORM 2004 compliant. It means that it will be able to import SCORM 2004 package into our content repository, but we can't deliver SCORM content yet.

If you want to get familiar with SCORM, ADL also has added an SCORM overview that you might find easy to read.
