Jade: I think my role here as relative newcomer is to champ at the bit and for those that know better to say "hold your horses!", and as has happened, "this is a better way to do it". I agree, moreover, to the need for decent documentation along the way and as a goal, too. So, I think we're reading from the same page. Jun: thanks for making the link on the etp, that feels right to me at this point.
I am especially gratified by the concrete contributions of Don and Paul, and I'm looking towards the Copenhagen meeting as the place where a handful of us might work some of this out in detail, posting what we are doing as we proceed. I'm also as eager as Don is to hear from Lars and Jeff and suspect they'll be playing a leading role in this as we get going: as I wrote, it was from watching them work on css in Berlin that I felt confident that I could head in this direction with good company.
