Lars (and whomever else)

I've got a project I'm working on where I need to attach particular values to a user's account.

There doesn't appear to be any way to do this short of a separate table to store this information.  Is there a need for  the ability to add an extensible table to the user 'object'.

Jade mentioned that Lars might be doing something with this.  Lars, do you have any thoughts on this?

anyone else?

The "User Preferences" package allows you to essentially do something like that.
