Forum OpenACS Q&A: Netscape 6 breaks ACS dropdown menus

Installed Netscape 6 this weekend.  Haven't tried the Linux version
yet, but the Windows version breaks the ACS dropdown menu system.  As
it's a B3 release (Barely Beyond Beta), it's hard to say whether it's
a problem or a "feature" resulting from it's highly-publicized
enforcement of W3 standards.

web/db at http://arsdigita.com is probably a better place to raise this issue, as aD wrote the code.  Given that they're hurriedly implementing the Java ACS 4.0 version and pushing to ACS 4.1 on the Tcl side, if it indeed is a problem with the Javascript that implements the drop-downs they'll want to know.  Well, presumably they'll want to support Netscape 6 no matter what.

You should also enter this into the bug tracking system at aD.

We prefer to get them to look into problems common to both the Oracle and Postgres-based systems, so we can concentrate on Postgres-related issues.

I reported this problem several weeks ago, pointing to one of the few
IE/Netscape/Mozilla compatible menuing systems working and available
for use at http://associate.com.  Just look at the code in the front page.
