hi i need openacs to utilize LDAP 4 user auth. i did a search but
didn't get the anwsers i need. can someone help out a newbee please.
also i'm very new to tcl & many of my scripts are in perl how do i get
aol to run perl scripts or better yet how do i convert them or
intergrate them 4 use with openacs?

For LDAP, you can take a look at the ACS LDAP Authentication package at http://www.arsdigita.com/acs-repository/one-version?version_id=266
It won't work for you out of the box (it's based on ACS 4.0 for starters), but it should give you a good idea of how to approach the problem.
