Forum OpenACS Q&A: Cookie and session tracking

I just setup Openacs/aolserver on redhat 6.2. I was looking at the
session tracking feature that acs have. So just for curiosity, i
looked at the cookie file and found out that there is only
ad_browser_id and last_visit.

However, when i do a select in pg, i did see the session id was
written into the db.

Is ad_session_id get turn on by default?
How come I dont see such cookie in the cookie txt file?

If it isnt turn on by default, how can I turn it on?
