I'll post a feature request to the BT, but wanted to post it here for comment.

It would be nice to track when a user last logged in. For instance, in an intranet, it would be great to be able to check if a person has logged in recently to check out the forums. Or to know if the person is logged in now.

Is this very hard to do? Seems to be a fairly easy thingamabobberjig.

Not only that it still is. The users table contains last_visit and second_to_last_visit

Its in there, applications need to take advantage of that data.

Cool, can we make it a part of a default install? It's a nice whizbang feature that grabs attention. And very helpful, too
