Forum OpenACS Q&A: Response to Future directions for OpenACS

So, am I correct in stating that OpenACS 5 will have both a Tcl and Java version?  I like the "big tent" concept of supporting both, but I wonder how realistic it is.  Is the community really strong/large enough to do this?  I wonder if diverging interests will cause the OpenACS to "fork" from the ACS ala OpenNSD/Aolserver.
