I was asked yesterday if it is possible to create community and course templates within OpenACS. I said yes, but when I checked I could not find how to do this.

Is it possible (e.g. with the xml definition) to create template communities, course and/or subsites and if not, how would you go about enabling this feature (or is anyone developing it...)

I did it for the communities of practice work but it has
not been integrated with the mainstream install yet.

(in particular cop::install)

I intend to move this to the right place in the toolkit but
I have not figured out where that should be yet.
