Forum OpenACS Q&A: Red Hat 6.2 download

Collapse
Posted by David Kuczek on
I wanted to download Red Hat 6.2 from a mirror site and found two
i386 iso files. redhat-6.2-i386.iso and zoot-i386.iso....

I read on slashdot that zoot was the "code name" of that
distribution, but which document should I download now?

Or are they both the same?

Thanks

I would assume that the explicit 6.2 file is the final version.  The "zoot" name was used during development of the release.  The two files  might actually be the same (i.e. the very last "zoot" became the official release) but you'd be safest downloading the explicit 6.2 file, I should think.
