Melanie Wilton, working under Dr. Rafael A. Calvo of The University of Sydney, is undertaking an extention to the project-manager package for OpenACS.

This project will add charting and visualization tools to the project-manager application for OpenACS.

I'm posting this for two reasons:

1) in case anyone is interested in extending project-manager themselves, hopefully they can avoid duplicating work.

2) Mel will have a lot of questions in the next few months. Please help her out, so we can all benefit from her work!

Mel plans to complete the project by the end of October.

did they specify which library they intended to use?

I think that's somewhat open to negotiation.

I think the original proposal was to export data as a PDF file. This allows for very high-resolution output.
