Forum OpenACS Q&A: Install ACS on Windows

Hi,

I am trying to install OPenACS on windows XP

Is this the correct steps to follow

1. Install cygwin ( for Unix like env)
2. Install and Run Postgres
3. Install and Run AOLServer
4. Install OpenACS packages

Shall I use a Linux Live CD KNOPPIX

and do steps 2,3,4

If using Live CD

a) Do I download to hard drive and install postgres, aolserver and openacs?

b) Can I use the same hard drive and run these applications in Windows XP?

ANy help is greatly appreciated.
