Hi Nea, I assume you face a pretty hard challenge. First of all are you attending http://cs225.net/expo/home.htm ?

Some hints:

- Install .LRN and fill it with content, playing around with the features it provides.
- Read the FAQ. Try to remember that you read it when coming across problems.
- Check out https://openacs.org/education/.

Your goal should be to get a demo site up with some content which you feel comfortable with demonstrating and talking about. This assumes you should demo the system and not actually hack it.

Play around with additional packages that are not necessarily installed with dotlrn (check yoursite.com/admin). Check out the Concord demo at http://lrnsolutions.com.

Hope this helps.

Hi Nea,

Is this a business or technical expo?

Looking at the link (http://cs225.net/expo/home.htm) it seems that the focus is on business rather than technical issues but the title suggests otherwise.

I'd read the 'mission' statement, 'objectives' etc. on the home page of the expo then talk to people organizing it as ask them what they are looking for and the characteristics of the people they are focusing on.

I would assume the title will attract a lot of Linux enthusiasts but these may not be the people the organizers are trying to educate.
