Has anyone thought of implementing the CC metadata into OpenACS? Places where I think this could be useful:
  • LORS
  • Filestorage
  • Weblogger (including RSS feed)
  • (whatever)CMS
  • Photo Book
  • site-master.adp

As I mention on my blog, Mike Giles is now actively considering incorporating this functionality into Furl. I think it's a very good idea for OpenACS and dotLRN as well. I've had a couple of very positive email exchanges with Mike Linksvayer, the CTO of CreativeCommons, and I'm confident that he'd be delighted to offer advice/assistance to the OpenACS team on how to do this. He is very approachable.
