I got segmentation fault and service restart when I did XMLRPC call from client PC --> Openacs XMLRPC server --> ns_pam --> PAM authentication against outside server. From log message, PAM returned correct value and system crashed in ns_pam.

Has anybody met the similar problem and how to fix it? Thanks.

I have no idea, but you might try also cross-posting on the Aolserver list, and filing a bug for the XML-RPC package, if you don't hear back from anybody soon.
