hi there,

I was wondering who i would have to contact in order to get a new locale created?  I basically would like to have created an austrlaian locale [English (AU)] that would basically be the same as the US locale but with a few differences.

I registered to translate.openacs.org but since then i have recieved nothing which allows me to create this locale.

thankyou,
Brad

I think will be far better to do this new catalogs creation after the next monday (27/sep), since that day the beta version of .LRN will cut, and all the catalogs from oacs-5-1 will be merged with those in translate, then you'll get better / more accurate catalogs, don't you think?

Also, be sure that AU is the right ISO.

hi rocael,

Yes the ISO is AU, the A3 version is AUS

As for putting it online after the 27th, im not sure exactly why you think it will be better, however if you think its a good idea then that will be great if you could do that.  I was wondering if i will still be able to have access to change some of the words once it is created as the project i am working on will require me to do so.

thankyou for your help Rocael it is greatly appreciated.

brad, today Joel will merger catalogs of oacs-5-1 into translate.openacs.org, then I'll create the new catalog entry for AU.
