Forum OpenACS Development: Date format

I just noticed that my account at wikipedia.org enables me to easily set some preferences, among which date format, which I find quite useful: I often remain unsure as I find dates like 4/9/02. American format is twisted, it swaps the numbers; and you don't necessarily know well who wrote/served the internet page you're reading. Thus, at the end you don't know whether it's April or September.
Not so many things happen the same "easy", unambiguous date as the D-Day...
Does OpenACS include similar features? It'just an idea...

Yes, it does. See lc_time_format. Look at project manager or other packages for examples.

Perhaps you better search for lc_time_fmt 😊
