Is there some way to filter a post before it is stored in the db? i.e. excluding some words, concepts or filtering links which forward to bad materials. BTW, I asked the same question at http://www.arsdigita.com/bboard/q-and-a-fetch-msg?msg_id=000d1u (aD's web/db) a month ago and got no answers.

You can look into bboard_bozo_patterns, which was designed to aid the blocking of posts that contain various words, etc.
