Dear friends,

I got some of the OpenACS5.1.1 packages and I installed them. But I couldn't get some more packages which are interdependent on each other, and are required for my installation.

The packages which I couldn't get are:

    --------------

    acs-mail-lite-0.1d.apm
    acs-content-4.5.apm
    notifications-0.2d.apm
    attachments-0.3.apm
    bulk-mail-0.1d.apm

    ---------------
Can u please hint me where I can find them or any compatible versions of these pkgs.

I also got an error in sql file while installing calendar-1.1.apm

Pl. suggest me how to resolve it.

  Thanks in advance

Hi Seshu,

Where did you download the other packages from? You can get what you're looking for from CVS... see https://openacs.org/4/checkout. If you have CVS installed do something like:

cvs -z3 -d :pserver:anonymous@openacs.org:/cvsroot co -r openacs-5-1-compat acs-mail-lite

acs-content is an obsolete package. What needs it?

The package acs-content is required for the  acs package site-wide-search . So I required that package.

I also tried cvs type of download, but in vain

So please hint me to install those packages

Seshu, where did you download the other packages from?

acs-content is indeed listed as a requirement for site-wide-search. Does anyone know if this is still true? If so I don't think contrib/obsolete-packages is the best place for acs-content!

Did we decide at some point to drop the big tarball with everything in it? That used to be a good thing for people looking at the system for the first time.
