1: mypage.adp does not make use of acs templating tags?

Hello, I'm seeing an strange behavior, when you call an .adp page just like /mypage the tags like <master> works fine, but when you request it as /mypage.adp the <master> tag is not interpreted... comments?

This is oacs-5-1.
