Do we anticipate that we'll have early support for
PostgreSQL 8 (now in Beta 3 as of the 1st Oct 2004)? Should we wait for Postgres 8 to hit or install pg 7.4 in the meantime? PostgreSQL 7.4 is now recommended according to the 5.1
docs (though it's not listed as compatible on the
Prerequisite software page).
