I need to do this for a project, and am willing to apply my time towards it.  I found this thread but all the posts are in July 2003.  Has any progress been made since then?

Just wanted to clarify that reminders are of most interest to me right now (notification of calendar events seem to be working).  If reminders haven't yet been implemented.  I would like to get involved.

Randy, there are no reminders yet. The reason for this is that the notifications package does not allow for scheduled emails and there is no reminder package.

If you were to work on either package, it would be *really* easy to hook either of them into calendar and make calendar send emails well in advance of an event.
