1: backup with new-file-storage

If I want to backup my system that has quite some files inside
new-file-storage I have to:

1.) dump my database

2.) backup /home/aolserver/servers/myserver/data/

is that correct or am I missing anything?

You are correct indeed. Note that the location you've given is
specific to *your* installation. In general, you just want to back up
the the "data" directory in your ACS home dir, wherever that may be.
