Forum .LRN Q&A: Trouble logging on Dotlrn with Firefox

I'm wondering if anyone might have some advice on how to get my Firefox 1.0 to let me log in to Dotlrn.  I had to reformat my disk and now I'm having trouble.<p>
It presently refuses me, saying, "unknown email" even though I use the same email and password that gets me in using MSIE.  I've checked "allow sites to set cookies".  I don't know enough to interpred what my logs are saying:

OACS= sec_handler: enter
__ad_verify_signature: Getting token_id 7, value 74F886E0030C7D2A7DA4DC7FE81E3FD6B55ED8CF ;
__ad_verify_signature: Expire_Time is 1101569160 (compare to 1101568010), hash is 27DEB824647CD618FB778A1DE799D8DBC7F9A210
__ad_verify_signature: Hash matches - Hash check OK
__ad_verify_signature: Expiration time (1101569160) greater than current time (1101568010) - Expiration check OK
Security: Done calling get_cookie 1380786,0,0 {7 1101569160 27DEB824647CD618FB778A1DE799D8DBC7F9A210} for ad_session_id; received 1101569160 expiration, getting 1380786,0,0 and 7 1101569160 27DEB824647CD618FB778A1DE799D8DBC7F9A210.
Security: Insecure session OK: session_id = 1380786, untrusted_user_id = 0, auth_level = none, user_id = 0

I'll be grateful for any advice that will allow me to get away from this absurd message Microsoft now sticks rightin the middle of MSIE after the Service Pack 2 upgrade, letting you know that they are protecting you.  What a joke!  Thanks!  B

I have no problem using Firefox 1.0 on WinXP logging into dotLRN. Test registering a new user using Firefox and logging in on that user.
