.LRN is gaining ground in Italy! While the project was virtually unknown at the beginning of the year in Italian universities, we are now very close to deliver an ECDL course thanks to an agreement we have finalized with CINECA, a consortium of 24 Italian universities. We are also working on language courses, and hopefully we will also use .LRN for other courses...

The press release is here:

Hey Giancarlo, this are awesome news!

This is quite important, an interesting. The E-LANE project will deploy in several countries of Latin America (at the begining Mexico, Guatemala, Colombia, Brazil, Chile) ICDL courses delivered with .LRN, using mainly lors (I think you'll use an compliant RTE with lors), and then come back with several articles / papers about our experiences. Combining not just the content and the technology, but also a learning methodology to apply during the online courses.

Module 1,2,3 & 7 will deployed, starting on january 2005, other long-life learning courses will come as well. The course content is being developed by E-LANE partners.

We might find ways create synergy among the two projects.
