Anyway I would like to point out that innovation or conceptual integrity does not come from technology (or software engineering in this case).

The "single data model" in particular has huge implications on the "soft" side of things. What is the common thing between b2c, b2b, b2e? answer: the character "2". That character means communication  and collaboration. The single data model makes possible the management of the knowledge you gain from this collaboration.

Have you looked at birdnotes.net? that is a great example of innovative collaboration. Ok, we are not going to have many clients paying for a service that "Graph species in order of abundance by location". But you can show how innovation can be "empowered" by the right tools.

How innovative are going to be the businesses echanging excel files in .NET?
