Hi everyone,

Based on my assumption that some OpenACS folks may still have an interest in the direction of ACS Java, I thought I'd cross-post a link to an ACS Java bboard thread that talks about our (ArsDigita's) plans to make ACS Java database-independent later this year:

I should probably say explicitly that the reason we're setting this goal for ACS Java is driven by customer demand, not any hope of "winning over" the OpenACS community to ACS Java -- not a likely outcome in any event. :)
