Well, Civilution and Musea Technologies have been working pretty much exclusively with non-profits for the past year with that same model. So it's not a terribly new idea. It's also not terribly easy. It you want to know more I would suggest contacting Carl Coryell-Martin (carl@civilution.com) or me at talli@museatech.net. Probably me since I really shouldn't volunteer Carl for him.

As far as is the community viable, well... I would have a look around before you ask that question. I don't know what you're expecting to hear.
