I just wanted to say that I like the policy to inform members and
casual visitors more frequently about the happenings at
OpenACS via the news module....

I can remember Ravael Calvo mentioning in some thread, that
the site would make a more vivid impression with more frequent
news. It's true and in addition to that you can quickly see where
the project is mainly heading...

By the way: Any news about .LRN?

It's a .LRNing experience? :)

OF is beavering away at the project.  The schedule calls for it to go live at Sloan spring term, which means it needs to be ready for testing before winter break, in practice.
