Hi,

I've enabled htmlarea in dotlrn 2.1.1, but it does not display on Firefox. Is anybody else having the same problem?

I've also found another editor similar to htmlarea called FCKeditor (www.fckeditor.net). It is compatible with firefox and IE. If I were to use this instead of htmlarea, what changes would I have to make to acs-templating?

I've narrowed the error down to the Edit-This-Page package. I noticed that htmlarea was working for forums.

It works fine both in ETP as well as forums for me on OS X, which still contains a buggy version of Firefox, so I'm not sure what specifically does not work.

Before we support a different Editor, I'd like to see us move to the RC2 of HTMLarea 3.0, which has been released recently as a first step to support HTMLarea 3.0. Once we have this done, I'd stop discouraging people from adding another Editor into the toolkit.
