Have a look at this commit please: http://cvs.openacs.org/cvs/openacs-4/packages/calendar/www/view-one-day-display.tcl?r1=1.6&r2=1.7

Could this be the source of your problem? I.e. the upgrade scripts don't take into account this "recalculation"?
