Forum OpenACS Q&A: nsvhr and connection refused

Collapse

I'm getting error messages in my master.log that look like this:

Error: nsvhr: could not connect to unix:modules/nsunix/bf2.nsunix:
Connection refused

It appears to be happening when I make a request from bf2 while
someone else's is being processed.  This is just two users; me and
the other guy.  What could this be indicative of?  I haven't changed
maxthreads from its default on either master or bf2.

Oops, I was misreading my logs.  This was when a request came in just after I'd restarted the bf2 process.

I have been trying to configure my aolserver to use nsvhr, but I don't know exactly how the master.tcl should be. Can somebody post an complete example here?

Thanks.

I'm leery of trusting it to bboard w/o getting mangled, but here's a link: http://www.carnageblender.com/public/master.tcl.txt

You've read Jerry Asher's guide, right?
