FWIW, there's a new graphical admin toolkit for Posgres on the
Mac called pgMac.

From the web site:

 What it is.
The pgMac Database Kit is an industrial strength database
product that consists of the award-winning open source
PostgreSQL database, an installer for Mac OS X, and graphical
database administration tools for managing PostgreSQL
databases.

Who it's for.
pgMac is packaged to be easily used by a Mac OS X developer

be used by software developers who need a database at the

this kind of stuff always cracks me up.  Do you really want your data models designed by a <i>developer with little or no database experience</i>? :)

Actually, I was thinking it would be useful for K-12 sysadmins
who might want to use .LRN for their schools but don't have a lot
of experience working with an RDBMS.  The tool has a GUI for
starting and stopping services, cold and hot backup and restore,
etc.
